HomeInspirationUX Design for Mobile: Side Navigation

Published on Dribbble / Popular | Johny vino™ UX Design for Mobile: Side Navigation

This is just a personal preference on how I want to experience navigation in a Larger device, Definitely, iOS and android has their own reason with their current look.

Pain point I feel in the bottom bar and hamburger menu:

1. We can’t give hierarchy, everything holds same priority.

2. Bottom bar distracting my main content area, by giving rich icon and text. Because center portion of the screen is significant for reading.

3. If you put everything inside hamburger menu, most of the time people won’t know what is inside the hamburger menu. It got hidden.

Larger displays, like desktop, may achieve a similar effect by using side navigation.

I’d appreciate some creative solutions
